The Creative Advocacy Network

The Creative Advocacy Network is an organization I founded in December of 2024, with a good friend of mine and graphic designer Mya Goldman. CAN seeks to educate, agitate, and organize artists to make radically challenging art for all peoples. Our slogan, “art for the people, always” demands artists firmly establish and cherish in their communities, and make art which empowers all.

Public Art- political pieces on campus inspiring action

In April 2025, myself and other members of the Creative Advocacy Network joined with Students for Justice in Palestine to create a 40ft long ‘wall’ on campus, mimicking the very real Apartheid Walls which separate the West Bank and Gaza from the rest of the world. The piece was entirely interactive, allowing passerby’s to paint, write and learn about the occupation of Palestine and what they can do to demand our University cease its complicity through war bonds and programs which normalize and accept the unjust treatment of Palestinians on our campus.

Education- education based in history, communal learning and most importantly, art

Mutual Aid and Fundraising- through selling art and outreach, we inspire artists to give back to their communities.

During the Fall 2025 semester, CAN raised over $200 for the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. We used these funds to purchase necessary items for the, such as dustpants, silverware sets, cleaning supplies and more!
